How HomeWire handles your data when you use the contact form.

What I collect

When you submit the contact form, I receive your name, email address, and any message you choose to include. That's it — no cookies, no tracking, no profiles.

Page counts

The public site keeps anonymous, cookie-less page counts so I know which pages people find useful. Nothing is stored on your device, no personal data is collected, and the counts can't be traced back to you. The client portal has no analytics at all.

Why

To respond to your enquiry and, if you'd like to proceed, arrange a free briefing session. I won't add you to a mailing list, send marketing emails, or share your details with anyone.

How long I keep it

If you don't become a client, I delete your contact details once the enquiry is resolved — typically within a few weeks. If you do become a client, your name and email become part of your client record, covered by the full data handling policy in your portal.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it — at any time. Email homewire.uk@proton.me and I'll confirm when it's done.

Rate limiting

To prevent abuse, the contact form stores a one-way hash of your IP address temporarily (not your actual IP). This is used solely to limit submission frequency and is automatically cleared.

If you're an existing client, see the full data handling policy in your portal.

This page explains how HomeWire handles contact form data in plain language. It is not a legal document.
